The State Veterinary Institute Jihlava is a state-of-the-art veterinary laboratory.
Our mission is to provide customers with accurate, rapid, and cost-effective diagnostic and analytical services in accordance with the latest knowledge in the field, including professional interpretation of the results and consultations.
We offer a full range of diagnostic and preventive examinations in the field of animal health, and chemical, microbiological, immunochemical, molecular biology and sensory testing of foodstuffs, raw materials, feed, swabs, cosmetics, biowaste, air, and environment, including the determination of foreign and additive substances.
We work in close cooperation with government authorities in the supervision of animal diseases, including zoonoses, and in the supervision of food safety and quality.
Our business has a wider projection towards ensuring animal health and welfare, consumer protection and public health.
